We shall be back next week with more to report.

thanks for your cool service - there are two bugs that i hope you can fix while cleaning up the old database:
- it looks like the day of editing (an older) blog entry = day of publishing for those feeds on my suprglue pages (since i had to update some links a lot of blog entries now have wrong publishing dates, old ones show up first etc.)
- then there is the bug where whole paragraphs are underlined like if they were a link, see page 2 of my http://remix.suprglu.com/
i tried to delete/add my feeds again, but those problems remain.
thanks!

Hrrrrhmpp… We’re looking into it.
Yup this was a bug, please find the first issue corrected. If there are some other posts with jiggled dates they should correct themselves in during the next day.
About the second underline issue: your feed as retrieved from feedburner is already decorated by underlines. Out of our hands sorry!
hi!
and all that stuff? would take away the load from your servers and everything would always be uptodate. but porbably it would be all to slow loading and to heavy for the client…
hope the flushing went well.
i just joined 2 days ago, but noticed my suprglu hasent updated since, although my feeds have changed. i read somewhere they should update every 4 hours. is that still true? is everything in standby because of the flush?
on another note: what about trowing in some more cool features and then start selling pro accounts (with even some more cool features (maybe faster updates?)) as a business model?
this is one of the coolest services i have seen lately! i just started creating a personal website that does just what suprglu does. would have never become that cool. i love you! you rock!
oh and i was wondering, couldnt you load all the feeds dynamically? ajax? web 2.0
it would be nice to have a link “update feed” on the manage sources page…
and you could build some routine like, all sites get updated once a day, but based on popularity (pageviews) the update frequency increases.
sorry this is so long, but i’m just really thrilled by your service!
bye
double-post sorry.
Great ideas there Hannes… After our clean-up lately, looks like our refresh rate hasn’t improved as much as we’d like. But the overall system performance is much better.
So - right now, we’ll all have to live with a once-a-day refresh until we can afford an extra server…
few comments…
- about 1 day delay for my blog to show up on suprglu
- the suprglu rss feed tags is wrongly shown on some readers
- i would like delicious links set as one item for each day, not one item for each link.
- it’ll be great if we may put our ads on it
anyway…
thanks for the great free service.
